Position: Part-Time Music Lesson Instructor
Duties:
Provide piano, guitar, ukulele, and/or voice lessons to students.
Teach music theory, technique, and performance skills.
Help students, as they wish, prepare for recitals, competitions, and auditions
Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback.
Maintain a safe and positive learning environment.
Experience:
Previous experience teaching music lessons is preferred.
Strong knowledge of music theory and technique.
Ability to effectively communicate and engage with students of all ages.

Music Therapy is the clinical and evidence-based use of music interventions to accomplish individualized goals within a therapeutic relationship by a credentialed professional who has completed an approved music therapy program. (American Music Therapy Association definition, 2005)
Lessons meet once per week in a private or group setting for either 30 or 60 minutes. Both group and private lessons offer the opportunity to perform in a casual atmosphere for other students, as well as a part of recitals and community events. We teach voice, piano, guitar, and ukulele.
Coastie Classes that meet once a month! In these classes, we explore sights, sounds, and moves of the season through singing, dancing, and instrument play. This is the perfect place for you little ones to grow through music with their peers. Each class is taught by a a board-certified music therapist and a Kindermusik Educator.
