Katlin is a board-certified music therapist (MT-BC) who completed her music therapy degree at Mississippi University for Women. She has clinical experience working with children with varying disabilities, school-aged in behavioral intervention programs, adolescents in correction and alternative to juvenile detention programs, adolescents and adults with substance use disorder, adults with disabilities, survivors of human trafficking, hospice and palliative care, bereavement, and geriatrics. 

Katlin completed her Masters in Social Work (MSW) from the University of Kentucky with a clinical counseling and substance use disorder certificate in May 2023. She fulfilled her practicum requirements working with women in a 28-day recovery program. Katlin will be pursuing to become a licensed masters social worker (LMSW), upon completing her degree. 

Katlin is working on completing her Kindermusik Educator Certification, becoming a Certified Enneagram Coach, and completeing her Trauma-Informed Music Therapy Training.

Julia Lloyd

Music Lesson Instructor (Piano & Ukulele)

Julia comes to us from Richmond, Virginia with a Bachelor of Arts in Music and four years of Music Education experience from Virginia Commonwealth University. A gifted musician, Julia has immersed herself in all things music at any opportunity she could. From a very young age and throughout her schooling, Julia became proficient on piano, clarinet, and french horn, gained an abundance of experience with choir and percussion, and is self-taught on the Ukulele. Julia also has a passion for teaching and knew early on she wanted to become a music teacher. Julia loves to be creative and adaptive when it comes to learning music and respects that each student has different learning styles. Julia likes her teaching and learning experiences to be fun, intriguing, and consistent, and hopes her students will want to keep coming back for more. Julia is a proud Air Force wife for her husband stationed here at Keesler AFB and a proud mom to their daughter and three cats.
